Our Projects
Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WaSH)
We help improve the health and well-being of informal settlement residents and rural communities through constructing user-friendly, sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene, or WASH, facilities.
We build communities’ capacity to manage the WASH structures and conduct hygiene and sanitation campaigns to raise awareness.
To date, 32,870 households have since been served through our WASH interventions.
Vulnerable Group Housing (VGH)
Through the VGH program, HFH Malawi provides houses and sanitation facilities to orphans and other vulnerable groups, including persons with disabilities, in rural communities of Malawi.
The program also offers complementary services such as malaria and HIV prevention, as well as property rights training to the targeted households. This project directly contributes to the achievement of the Vulnerable Group Housing Program and aligns with Goal 11 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which aims to ensure that human settlements are inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.
