Today, November 17,2022, Thyolo District Executive Meeting (DEC) approved the Habitat for Humanity Malawi WASH project to be implemented in Traditional Authority Ngongoliwa. The project is funded by Foundation of the German Lions. The project seeks to improving livelihoods through sustainable WASH practices in rural communities of Thyolo District in Malawi. Currently 23% of the people in targeted community lack access to safe drinking water and 50% have no latrines. The project is expected to improve this status and will wind up in June 2026.
